The New Arusha Hotel, located by the Clock Tower offers four star
accommodation, complete with swimming pool, bar, restaurant and souvenir
shops, including a gemstone dealer where you can purchase certified
tanzanite and other gems. Food and service is upper end.

The New Mount Meru Hotel, formerly Novotel. Located out of the main
town centre in lush surroundings. Facilities include swimming pool, golf
course, bar and two restaurants. Good standard rooms. |

Budget class:
Meru House Inn. Located in the town centre, this hotel offers budget
class accommodation. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets, tables,
chairs and wardrobe space. Double rooms have twin beds. 72 rooms in total,
of which half have ensuite bathrooms. There are two restaurants in the
building serving local, Western, Indian and Chinese dishes. The Noble Juice
Parlor on the ground floor offers a selection of pastries, fresh juices,
snacks and cakes. |

Luxury tented camps:
A selection of permanent tented camps and exclusive lodges with top
notch facilities, inspired by the explorers from the colonial period.
If you are looking for a genuine camping experience in the bush but don't
like roughing it, this is a perfect option. Tented camps offer
spacious canvas tents with ensuite bathroom, some offer private camping for
you and your companions. Personalized service full time (including
complimentary laundry service). Beverages and a selection of wines are
free of charge.

Sopa Lodges offer four star accommodation in spacious rooms with good
views of the parks. All lodges have swimming pools.
E Unoto Retreat at Lake Manyara is the newest of the safari lodges, located
at the bottom of the Great Rift Valley among the maasai settlements. A stay
here will be an experience not easily forgotten, you will be accommodated in
your own private maasai boma style cottage and a personal butler is at your
service throughout your stay.

Offer superb views of the national parks. Good standard rooms, all
with ensuite bathrooms. The lodges were built in the 70's
and the architecture and interior design reflects that.

Basic camping:
Camping in dome tents on public camp
grounds. Toilet and shower facilities are shared with other clients and one
must expect primitive facilities e.g bucket showers and pit latrines. We
provide large four-man-tents for every two clients, sleeping bags and
foam mattresses. Our cook will accompany you on the safari and prepare all
meals. We have often heard that our cooks make better meals than the lodges!
Vegetarian, vegan and halal meals are prepared on request. |
